BMAN Ignites Purpose in Young Hearts with “Pathway to Purpose” Event

In a vibrant display of faith, leadership, and community, the Boys Mentoring Advocacy Network (BMAN) successfully launched its innovative initiative, “Pathway to Purpose: Mastering the LIVE Principles for Christian Boys,” on Saturday, May 24, 2025. The event, held at the BMAN Headquarters, attracted over 100 young participants, predominantly boys aged 12-18, with a few enthusiastic girls also joining the transformative journey.
The day was filled with dynamic engagement as attendees delved into interactive workshops centered around BMAN’s core LIVE Principles: Love, Inspire, Value, Educate. These principles were brought to life through various activities. Participants learned to love like Christ, inspired others with their personal testimonies, valued everyone as bearers of God’s image, and educated with humility. Group activities, including role-playing scenarios and mentorship circles, provided a platform for vulnerability, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the youth.
An unexpected yet enriching aspect of the event was its inclusivity. While the program was tailored for boys, several girls attended, bringing a broader perspective to the discussions. One participant shared, “I learned that God’s purpose isn’t limited by gender—we’re all called to LIVE!” This sentiment underscored the event’s theme of universal leadership and purpose.
Each attendee left with a FREE copy of LIVE Principles: A Devotional Guide for Christians, ensuring they could continue their journey of growth at home. Light refreshments added to the warm, community-focused atmosphere of the event.
The impact of the event was palpable through the testimonials shared by participants. Daniel, a 14-year-old attendee, reflected on his experience, saying, ““I finally understand how to LIVE for God’s glory.!”   Pastor Tobi, a volunteer mentor at the event, was equally moved, commenting, “The energy here is electric! These boys are hungry for godly direction.”
The event not only touched lives but also sparked a commitment to mentorship among the youth, with 85% of participants pledging to mentor others in their communities.
Looking forward, BMAN aims to scale this vision significantly. By 2026, they plan to reach 100,000 youth globally. Upcoming initiatives include expanding to 10 cities with regional workshops by December 2025, launching a digital platform for broader access to LIVE Principles resources, and forming partnerships with local churches to host similar programs.
