LAGOS, NIGERIA – June 25, 2025 – The Boys Mentoring Advocacy Network (BMAN) has achieved an extraordinary quadruple endorsement for its transformative “Peace Pledge for Boys Campaign,” receiving backing from international, governmental, traditional, and community leaders.
1. International Recognition from ICMB
The International Council for Men and Boys (ICMB), a Washington D.C.-based global organization, offered its “full endorsement and enthusiastic support” in a June 9, 2025 letter. Lawrence DeMarco (LLM), ICMB Executive Manager, praised the campaign’s five core principles: Listen First, Stay Calm, Respect Others, Take Responsibility and Be a Peacemaker.

ICMB highlighted BMAN’s 40% reduction in bullying reports across 10 schools and training of 22 Peace Ambassadors as evidence of the program’s effectiveness.
2. Lagos State Government Approves School-Wide Implementation
The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education granted official approval on June 24, 2025, directing collaboration with Education Districts for monitoring.

3. Royal Blessing from the Asiwaju of Igbogbo Kingdom

4. Grassroots Backing from Parkview Estate CDA
The Parkview Estate Community Development Association commended BMAN’s innovative workshops and horse-riding peace excursions in their May 22, 2025 endorsement.
