SUPPORT FUND
Low Income Families Education (L.I.FE) Support Fund. It is an annual education endowment fund for children who are forced out of school due to financial constraints beyond their control. L.I.F.E Support Fund will serve as an emergency support fund to students from single parent homes who are challenged with funding while schooling at all educational levels due to unavoidable circumstances. Imagine the number of individuals who were robed of their full potentials due to lack of school fees!
Challenge
It’s not a secret that poverty is a major problem affecting the educational achievements of children from low income families. My experiences as a school administrator for almost two decades attest to the fact that children from low income families contribute a high percentage to the number of children who drop out of school. Most of these children are very bright but have their bright future turn bleak the moment their parents cannot afford school fees.
Solution
Educational support and Scholarship grants to 50 students from Low income families. Enroll and reinstate children in private and public school to reduce the growing number of out-of-school children forced to drop out due to financial constraints. Open up educational opportunities for children from low-income families so that they have hope of positively contributing to a thriving society. Reignite the hope and joy of learning for those who have lost interest in education.
Long-Term Impact
NO FAMILY CAN TRULY DEVELOP UNLESS THEIR CHILDREN ARE EDUCATED. Education has been proven to yield a larger impact than ANY other form of help or aid we can give. Education is the only social element that, if improved, always increases the quality of the human life.
